Veronica's mother, Ann-Christine, is a teacher. She teaches French, geography, history, religion and Swedish. Her dad, Rickard, is a is a an auditor.

Veronica she tried ballet classes when she was a kid, but the interest didn't last long.

Veronica's brothers both used to be very talented ice hockey players... her older brother's career ended when he met a girl who was more interesting than going to his work outs :)

Veronica thinks that the best thing about gymnastics is to compete and meet gymnasts and make new friends from different parts of the world.

The first gymnastics skill Veronica learned was the typical forward roll.

Some of Veronica's bad habits include being too stubborn at times, talking when she should be quiet, staying up too late and having a hard time of being somewhere on a time.

Veronica is a fan of the Lord of the Rings. She watched the third movie on the premiere, because she stood in a line for it. She also knew a bunch of people who had camped outside the theatre for four weeks to get tickets, thanks to them she only had to stand in the line for one day!

Veronica's favorite food is a pasta sauce ala Staffan (mushrooms, sausages, green pepper, tomatoes, cream and basil). It's supposed to be really tasty!

Veronica believes that if she wouldn't be a gymnast, she would be involved in track & field.

Unlike many of her fellow competors, Veronica doesn't carry around any lucky charms or have any special rituals before the meets, she simple doesn't believe in that kind of stuff.

The very first gymnastics competition Veronica remembers watching from the television was the 1996 Olympic Games. But it was the 1999 World Championships which originally inspired her to she start thinking the Olympic Games as a realistic goal.

Even though Veronica doesn't have much time to answer all the fan letters and stuff (she does feel guilty about that!), she tries her best to treat her fans well!

If Veronica could be anyone for 24 hours, she would choose to be Christina Agulera!

Even Veronica thinks Sweden is very beautiful country (there are so many lakes, the sea and islands), and overall adores the change of four seasons, she doesn't like when it gets way too cold during the winter time!
